Our own production has two purposes - it gives the students training, and the surplus contributes to the financing of the school.
Sewing workshop
The sewing workshop is situated in a separate building. It is equipped with professional sewing machines, bought second hand with earmarked contributions. Here we make our own textile products, handle special orders and develop new products. Our basic selection of products we sell to markets in Sweden and in Latvia, and through direct contacts with different companies. We make products suitable as Christmas presents, gifts to clients or staff, for kick-off events or other occasions. If you have some ideas of your own and would like to place a special order with us, please contact us to draw up an agreement.
Joinery workshop
The joinery is situated in an old rebuilt outhouse and equipped with professional machinery (an EU project). Here we make gymnastics equipments and shop furniture, which we sell in Latvia and smaller items like cutting boards, which we sell in Sweden. The same possibility for anyone to put an order apply here as for the textile production - please feel free to contact us to discuss your own ideas and your orders.
Café - Meeting place
The room has a white vault-shaped ceiling and rustic furniture made by a local carpenter. It is situated in the main building of the Livslust-Dzivesprieks premises. We earn some money by serving meals to visiting groups and by hiring out the room for local family reunions.
You can buy products from the sewing workshop and from the carpentry workshop! We design and manufacture to order.
